We are Open!

WE ARE OPEN! Today is the first day of our new store, and I have already had more customers here than I did on a typical day downtown in the last few months. I think that bodes well for this store. I don't even have any signage up yet, and people are walking in.

I will be hanging pictures today. I still have a lot of that to do. We are not even close to full of product although I still have some unpacking to do. Even so the store is bright and cheerful inside and has big lovely windows to advertise our products. I am very excited.

At this point we have three terrific new artists in the store. Today I will just talk about one of them--a group of artists/woodworkers--A Piece of Cleveland. For those of you unfamiliar with A Piece of Cleveland, they are a taking wood from deconstructed houses and other buildings, and reusing the wood to make great furniture and other wood accessories. So far in the store we have a glass topped wood writing or display table, cutting boards, two types of lamps, and nesting tables. Stop by to see them.
