Lake Erie Artists Gallery is Moving to Shaker Square

Start looking for Lake Erie Artists Gallery at Shaker Square, starting with the Shaker Square Farmers Market which begins again on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 8 am to 12 noon. We will have a booth again this year at the market.

Our biggest news is that we are moving our store to Shaker Square also. Our last month in Tower City is April. Lots of items will be on sale, so stop by the store to help us reduce inventory for the move. Late May we are expected to reopen in our new location, in the northwest quadrant of Shaker Square next to Balaton Restaurant.

In our new location, we will be teaching classes on all kinds of art related topics so stay tuned for the class list.

Cleveland International Film Festival Starts This Week

The Cleveland International Film Festival starts this week, and with it bringing all sorts of international visitors to Cleveland, Ohio for 10 days.

The festival is always great, and the films are inspiring, funny, emotional, and educational. These are not films that you will find anywhere, but lots of independent films from all over the world.

The festival also runs commercial shorts, and other short films. I encourage you to come to downtown Cleveland, and check it out. And while you are here, stop by our gallery at the east end of Tower City.
